It was originally decided that we would stop doing Veloroams when the Velodrome race season ends.
After taking almost the past week off of doing posts in hopes that a new ride idea would blossom in my mind, I came to a couple conclusions.
1. There is no reason we should stop doing our ride just cause race season is over.
2. We can’t stop Veloroams.
Tuesday is the new Saturday with us.
Organizing and doing a weekly ride is a commitment. It gets exhausting promoting the ride, planning a route, and such. Its hard to go straight from work to the track, never getting a second to catch my breath but we’ve got such a good thing going TEAIM.
The pay off is EVERY ride. The story and the adventure we go on. I don’t plan routes for Veloroam cause I love the organicness of them. Whatever happens, will most certainly happen. If someone has an idea for a place to go, we’ll go. All Veloroams start out the same but never end the same.
So lets do this TEAIM. Let’s keep this Veloroam momentum going.
I might not always be able to make it and lead the ride and planning routes from the Velodrome sucks but lets keep this going. If you’ve got an idea for a place to ride, or a route, HOLLER. Any extra help with doing these rides is so incredibly appreciated.
Oh and lets just reiterate and set in stone a few ground rules with the Veloroam.
On the ride please :
STOP AT RED LIGHTS
YIELD AT STOP SIGNS
CALL OUT CARS / TURNS
STICK TOGETHER
WE ARE A PACK. NOT A MASS.
……….
See you Tuesday!
