The Knog Scout – Bike Finder + Alarm

Ugggh – I wish I had a Knog Scout on my bike when my RadRunner was stolen – I’m certain that I would have recovered the bike… Regardless – now I feel confident that won’t happen again since I’ve got a Knog Scout!

The Knog Scout mounts to your water bottle mount, works off Apple’s “FindMy” technology, and has a super loud 85db ALARM!

It’s possible to mount the Knog Scout under the water bottle mount – just requires longer screws which I didn’t have available at the time.

This is what the Knog Scout app looks like.

You can mainly “arm” or “disarm” the alarm through the Knog app and use Apple’s “FindMy” app to locate the Knog Scout. Once “armed”, any sort of vibration or movement detected by the Knog Scout will trigger an audible alert from the Scout.

All in all – 10/10 and soon all my bikes will have a Knog Scout.

The Knog Link.
Knog always comes through with simple, minimal designs.
This is the Saddle Mount. There is also a Rack Mount that would mount to the rear of a bike rack.
The 7-11 at University X Texas on FMBR157.

To charge the Knog Link, the light itself is removed but no need to take the entire mount off. Magnets keep the light secure and with a gentle tug, the light will be removed.

The Knog Link is 100% waterproof, USBC rechargeable, and has up to 50 hr run time. Clocking in at 100 lumens and ensuring maximum visibility mounting areas mean that the Knog Link rear light is a super safe choice for your commute.

Le Knog Blinder 900.

Aside from the fact that it’s super bright, I love that the new Blinder 900 raises the light ~ 1″ or so above the handlebars. I’ve always got bags on my bars so lights on my handlebars get blocked. Having the light sit on top of my bars is great.

It’s 100% waterproof and depending on the brightness / mode you’re using, you can expect 2 hours all up to 120 hours on a full charge. Little LED lights will let you know how much charge is left too.
