ABOUT

“WE’RE A PACK. NOT A MASS.”

Car and bike can co-exist. We try our best to exemplify this mindset on our Fullmoon Bikerides.

We’re not trying to “take back” the streets – they were never ours to begin with. We understand that drivers will not respect bicyclists until bicyclists respect the rules of the road.

“The Awarewolfs aim to promote safe cycling and mutual respect between cyclists and drivers… Nothing revelatory or earth-shattering, but it’s nice to see the often opposing ethos of hip and responsible in the same place.” – Urban Velo

(L) Ricardo Juarez, Event Coordinator. (R) Charlie Sears, The Awarewolfs Founder.

Together, Charlie and Ricardo have hosted 100+ Fullmoon Bikerides and been involved with countless other bicycle events here in San Diego CA. Their motivation is seeing new riders discover AWLF. Together they aim to keep AWLF as the staple San Diego bicycle community group. If you’ve never been on a FMBR – don’t be shy! Grab a bud, bring a snack, and come ride bikes with The Awarewolfs every Fullmoon!
