“WE’RE A PACK. NOT A MASS.”
Car and bike can co-exist. We try our best to exemplify this mindset on our Fullmoon Bikerides.
We’re not trying to “take back” the streets – they were never ours to begin with. The Awarewolfs understand that drivers will not respect bicyclists until bicyclists respect the rules of the road.
“The Awarewolfs aim to promote safe cycling and mutual respect between cyclists and drivers… Nothing revelatory or earth-shattering, but it’s nice to see the often opposing ethos of hip and responsible in the same place.” – Urban Velo LINK

Together, Charlie and Ricardo have hosted 150+ Fullmoon Bikerides and been involved with countless other bicycle events. Their motivation is seeing new riders discover AWLF. Together, they aim to keep AWLF as the “gateway drug” to the San Diego bicycle community group. If you’ve never been to an AWLF event, don’t be shy! We hope you’ll grab a friend and come ride bikes with The Awarewolfs!
